DESCRIPTION
Shape of splint adapted to the wrist: limiting wrist bending, and positioning the wrist in slight extension.
Covering palmar side: protection of the tissues affected by surgery during the healing process.
Thermoformable splint: anatomical moulding, adjustment of the splint according to the treatment of the pathology, reshaping the splint during rehabilitation.
Radiotransparent splint: properties of the material that allow x-rays to pass through during clinical exams.
Adjustable splint: cutout area identified by stitching along the contours of the palmar face.
